At Koala Disability Care, we have a wide range of disability accomodation options to suit all requirements, ranging from:

  • Supported Independent Living (SIL)
  • Medium Term Accomodation (MTA)
  • Housing Options (clients that don’t have SIL or MTA, but would like help finding suitable accomodation).
  • Short Term Accomodation (STA – Formerly Respite)
  Disability Accomodation is our specialty, therefore we ensure that we cover all 4 areas extensively. 

Additionally, our team is well equiped and has the experience to support a wide range of disabilities including mental health, personal care requirements, autism, intellectual and physical disabilities as well as trauma. 

To top it all off, Koala Disability Care will go above and beyond to make sure our client is thrilled with their new accomodation. 

This means that we make sure the houses are homely, spacious, and have their own touch.

As well as that, we have availability all over the Central Coast, Newcastle and the Greater Hunter regions. 

We currently have 20 homes and try and add new homes frequently to keep options open for our prospective participants. 

If that’s not enough, we are more than happy to source a new house in the clients preferred location to ensure they are looking forward to their future and love their new home. 

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Our SIL support team is highly experienced and committed to excellence in client care.

We ensure matching of clients in the home to other participants, team members and suitable and desirable accomodation.

Our team focuses on helping each client reaching their potential through capacity building and achieving their goals

Medium Term Accomodation (MTA)

MTA is a transitory accommodation option created by the NDIS. We ensure the Participant is settled in their new home and our team provides high quality care and documentation to assist with the Plan Review Process and ultimately securing long term Disability Accomodation Support.


Independent Living Options (ILO)

STA is an integral and versatile part of disability care process. It allows the Participant or the Carer to get a much needed break from time to time.
We provide 24 hour care that caters for everything and organise fun activities for the Participant to enjoy.

Housing Options


Some clients don't have approval for SIL or MTA - but why should that limit their ability to find housing and support that suits them?
We make sure to cater for this group of clients by arranging flexible options of accomodation and support that benefits the Participant.
